About Us

Lynn Domenech and Jocelyn Holt, a mother-daughter team, are passionate caregivers.  Helping others has always been part of their lives.

Lynn and Jocelyn experienced pain, despair, weariness, and the sadness of dealing with a life-threatening disease when the two were thrown into the role of caring for someone who couldn’t care for himself.

That someone was Lynn’s son and Jocelyn’s older brother.  Together, they learned the importance of advocacy, of finding joy in the midst of sorrow, and made a commitment to making a difference.

This experience pushed Jocelyn into Occupational Therapy where she specialized in geriatrics and worked in a rehabilitation hospital. In this capacity, Jocelyn found herself discharging patients to senior nursing homes because they lacked the care necessary to stay in their own home. Jocelyn’s job and personal mission was to help seniors become independent yet she found herself sending far too many to nursing homes.

Lynn and Jocelyn put their heads together to find a way to provide non-medical in home care to seniors, and sought out an opportunity with Comfort Keepers to meet this challenge.  Today, Comfort Keepers, Ocala provides the highest standard of non-medical home health care to keep seniors independent and improve their quality of life. Providing seniors with an alternative to nursing homes or assisted living facilities has brought Lynn and Jocelyn incredible joy. Their background and personal experience has made providing caregiver services a perfect fit, and every day they strive to bring peace of mind and joy to their senior clients and their family members.
